Glee Returns with Idina Menzel and Sue Sylvester…in Vogue!

As a self-proclaimed Gleek, the return of Glee Season 1 (Yes, it is still season 1 continued) did not disappoint. Conflicts between Finn and Rachel arose, Sue Sylvester finagled her way out of her suspension, and Mr. Shue and Emma took their relationship to the next level. I was surprised that Idina Menzel was already on the first episode-and so excited! She is the conniving coach of the Glee clubs talented nemesis, Vocal Adrenaline (the lead of which happens to get with Rachel).

The show ended with a black and white music video of Sue Sylvester. Yes, SUE SYLVESTER, performing Vogue by Madonna. The next episode will continue this, using only songs by Madonna.
All of the songs chosen for this episode were stellar-I’m already looking forward to the CD!
I’m also excited to see how Idina’s role plays out…will she be discovered as Rachel’s biological mother, as many of the rumors say? Will she get with Mr. Shue? Tell me what you think will happen, fellow Gleeks, and what you’re the most excited for!
