Memorably, last night’s performances on American Idol showcased “Elvis”. Since last week’s R&B week, the judges did decide to use their “save option” and redeemed Big Mike (Michael Lynche). So unfortunately, that means that on tonight’s eliminations, two contestants will be sent packing as AI’s host, Ryan Seacrest, reveals the results. Also, we will all be in for a musical treat. Rumor has it that singer Justin Gaston, who happens to be the star for “If I Can Dream” is also an Elvis Presley hit from the late 1960’s. Cleverly fitting, Justin Gaston and former American Idol contestant Brook White have a little duet number for our enjoyment. Should be interesting!If you are unfamiliar with who Gaston is, he is most-known for competing on USA’s Nashville Star. Not only very talented, he also dated America’s most popular and loved princess, Miley Cyrus. However, currently, Justin is a guest in the “If I Can Dream” house that supports the dreams of upcoming artists, in their quest to find fame. This program was founded by no one other than Simon Fuller, who also created American Idol.Moreover, do you remember American Idol contestant Alex Lambert? He, was also presented with the opportunity to live as a housemate amongst the various artists searching for superstardom. I don’t know about you, but I was crushed when Alex’s time was up on the show, and clearly he was, as well. However, he has just gotten an opportunity of a lifetime, so thanks Simon Fuller!
