It may be in Iceland, but the Eyjaföll volcano is causing widespread disruption across the UK.

Thanks to volcanic ash monitoring centres like this one at the Met Office, we get a good picture of the spread of the cloud.

Meanwhile, volcanos are erupting all over the world, all the time. The best source is the Global Volcanism Program, which compiles a rolling tally of volcanic activity across the globe
