Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business premieres Sunday, April 11 at 9/8c

The Norwood Family/VH1

Is this a surprise? Ray J and Brandy have teamed up to bring their whole family on board VH1 with their new reality TV show. ( This really doesn't surprise me we all know Ray J could not stay away from reality TV and Brandy was already making guest appearances which seemed regular on For the Love of Ray J) According to VH1, the new show will have 11 one hour episode shows and showcase Brandy and Ray J's roles within their family's business. Brandy is set to get brack into her music and work in the studio with Timbaland and raise her seven year old daughter Sy'rai. In addition, Ray J is set to get back to his R & B roots with Rodney Jerkin and others. Their Father Willie will continue to coach and sing with his children, while Sonja Norwood their mother and entertainment manager will hand down the family business to her children. The Norwoods are an incredibly talented family who truly love each other and I think our viewers will relate to that,” said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Production, VH1. “They are also a family in business together in a rapidly evolving industry, which offers a whole other level of complexity in their relationships.
