We're told he was in New York City when there was some sort of medical emergency, and Charlie was taken to a local hospital.
We're now told at 2:07 AM, emergency dispatch received a 911 call for possible intoxication. Charlie was taken to New York Hospital at 2:30 AM. Police sources say Charlie went voluntarily and that Charlie was "intoxicated, irrational" and "emotionally disturbed."
Charlie is in New York to spend time with Denise and their two kids.
UPDATE: The New York Post is reporting Charlie was drunk and naked in his hotel room at 2 AM when security was called. The Post reports chairs had been thrown around the room and a chandelier was damaged. The report also mentions that Charlie headed back to his hotel room with an unidentified woman and that he flew into a rage after noticing his wallet had gone missing.
Clavicle Fracture: Tony Romo INJURY – It appears that the Cowboys will have to go on with out Tony Romo. Earlier today the quarterback broke his left clavicle during a match lost by his team – the Cowboys were defeated 41-35 in their match against the New York Giants in Dallas.
Acclaimed Jamaican reggae musician Gregory Isaacs died today in London at the age of 59 after a lengthy battle with lung cancer. Isaacs began his career in the late ’60s and worked with a range of notable producers including Lee “Scratch” Perry and Gussie Clark. He achieved global success after he signed with Island Records and released his acclaimed album Night Nurse in 1982. Isaacs appeared in the film Rockers, in which he performed “Slavemaster.” With over 500 albums to his credit (many were compilations), Isaacs’ personal life was also tumultuous. He was addicted to crack cocaine and was arrested at least 27 times for various offences. Though he had been in declining health for several years he released his final lbum, Brand New Me, in 2008.
His wife, Linda, said in a statement, “Gregory was well-loved by everyone, his fans and his family, and he worked really hard to make sure he delivered the music they loved and enjoyed. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.”

The UFC 121 was back in action again and now the fights have been ended as well. The grand fight and the most awaited one was between Brock Lesnar and Cain Velazquez. All the fans had the feelings that Brock will beat this man but the reality was different from their expectations and Brock was not the one who stepped out with the championship title. The UFC 121 results are a great shock for the fans supporting Brock who were expecting him to win.

The mixture of boxing and martial arts is a great combination to provide the fans with the ultimate entertainment they wanted to see. Every parent’s worst nightmare is to have something happen to their child, especially in a horrific and tragic way. The parents of 23-year old Dayna Kempson Schacht have had double the pain that most parents go through when losing a child, especially because the video of their daughter’s horrific car crash was sent to them via cell phone.
Dayna Kempson Schacht was a beautiful mother of two who lost control of her car last July and hit a patch of trees. She was killed instantly. A couple of months after she passed away, her parents received a video message on their cell phone, complete with footage of Dayna right after the crash. The worst part is that the video was taken by one of the first responders on the scene of the accident.
Dayna’s father, Jeff Kempson said, “It was bad enough that we lost our daughter. And now to have to deal with something like this, it’s just beyond words.”
In the video, someone is talking in the background and says, “Hold that down for me. That’s really bad. Oh my God.”
The video was shared between other firefighters and then eventually went viral.
Dayna’s mother, Lucretia Kempson can’t get the image of the video out of her mind and says, “When I close my eyes, it’s not fair that that video is what I see of my daughter.”
Why this person chose to shoot such a horrific video is beyond me, but I can’t help but think that Dayna’s poor parents are vicitms of a form of cyber-bullying. We typically think of cyber-bullying only happening to kids and young adults, but what other label can be put on such a horrific act?
Have advances in technology pretty much extinguised people having a conscience?
My heart and prayers go out to Dayna’s parents, and the two children she left behind. I hope and pray that the video is destroyed so that they never have to see it.
Eric LeGrand injury has caused a lot metal problems to all of his team members and the ones that love him; he got badly injured in his recent game and till yesterday things were not very clear about him but today it has been known that he received a very severe injury and has been paralyzed below his neck. Barbara Billingsley, the actress embedded in the American consciousness as mom June Cleaver from the classic sitcom "Leave It to Beaver," died at her home in Santa Monica on Saturday. She was 94. Billingsley's portrayal of the quintessential stay-at-home mom in the series that ran from 1957 to 1963 -- and seemingly in perpetuity in reruns -- "set a good example for what a wife could be," the actress told TV Guide in 1997.
Her TV sons Wally and the Beaver, played by Tony Dow and Jerry Mathers, expressed their condolences Saturday. "We were wonderful friends," Dow said in a statement, in which he also wished the best to her sons and the rest of her family. Billingsley "helped me along this challenging journey through life by showing me the importance of manners, and respect for others," Mathers said in a statement.

A magnitude 5.5 earthquake on April 9, 1952, was centered near El Reno and affected most of Oklahoma and parts of Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Texas. Damage from the 10:30 a.m. earthquake was not extensive, but many people near the epicenter were alarmed. Portions of chimneys fell in El Reno and Ponca City. Bricks loosened from a building wall and tile facing of commercial buildings bulged in Oklahoma City. Plate glass windows were shattered in the business district of El Reno. Aftershocks were felt on April 11, 15 and 16, July 16 and Aug. 14. Homes and buildings shook and people were awakened in El Reno in the April 16 aftershock, at 12:05 a.m. People reported feeling the earthquake in Kingfisher, Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Union City.

Marloes Coenen forced Strikeforce women's 135lb champ Sarah Kaufman to submit from an arm bar at 1:59 of the 3rd round.
Coenen apologized to Kaufman for holding the submission after the tap and blamed the referee for a slow stoppage.

Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer threw a pass to rookie receiver Jordan Shipley in the end zone.
Shipley couldn't bring it in for the catch and was viciously hit by Browns rookie safety T.J. Ward. The hit drew a personal foul and Shipley was helped off of the field. It was later determined he suffered a concussion.
Bengals receiver Terrell Owens immediately began yelling at the Cleveland defensive players after the play.
"A ridiculous play. The guy's defenseless. I just hate to see a guy get hit like that in the head. For him to take a cheap shot like that, that's uncalled for," Owens told the Cincinnati Enquirer after the game. "At one point, I thought he was out cold.
