FIU Running Back Kendall Berry Stabbed And Murdered On Campus

Florida International University RB Kendall Berry was stabbed to death on the main Miami campus Thursday night.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:00PM, and several people witnessed the murder. Police would not confirm if they had any suspects in custody.
FIU has indefinitely postponed football coaching clinics scheduled for today and Saturday. The team's annual spring game is scheduled for Wednesday of next week, and it is unknown if it will be played at this time.
Berry had finished the 2009 season with a team high seven TDs after sitting out the entire 2008 season with a knee injury. Five of those TDs came within two weeks when he scored three times against Middle Tennessee State and two against North Texas.
FIU's athletic director Pete Garcia and head coach Mario Cristobal have not made statements at this time.
