Kendall Berry Florida International RB stabbed to death


Florida International University, which is popularly known as FIU, witnessed a rather tragic incident last night. According to reports, Kendall Berry, a 22 year old boy, who was a talented running back of the FIU football team was stabbed in the college campus on Thursday night which led to his death. The news of such criminal activity in the university campus has come as a shock for the students as well as the staffs. It has also increased the concern of people regarding the security of the students in the educational campuses.
According to sources, police officers from the Miami-Dade police department had entered the FIU campus immediately after learning the news of the Kendall Berry’s death. One of the officials of the Miami-Dade police department said that the young player had died at around 9:00 p.m. Reports indicate that the police department has already started the investigation in this case. It has been reported that they have interrogated some people, who were reportedly present at the time of the incident. Though there are reports indicating the investigation of the case has been undertaken, it is not sure whether police has booked any suspect in this case.
The news of Kendall Berry’s death is a great shock for the athletic department of the university. Media representatives tried to receive some comments from the coach or the athletic director of the team about the unfortunate incident. However, no statement has been available so far. Mark B. Rosenberg, President, FIU expressed grief and offered full support to Kendall Berry’s family.
