Steelers Vs Ravens-Pittsburgh steelers beat Baltimore Ravens 31-24



















The Steelers Vs Ravens match has finally ended.Short fields and costly mistakes told the story of the Steelers’ 31-24 victory at Heinz Field ,AFC championship game 2011.
The Pittsburgh Steelers stood around as the Baltimore Ravens scored an inexplicable first-half touchdown. The Baltimore Ravens approached a 21-7 lead during the first half, silencing the crowd of 64,879 by forcing two Pittsburgh turnovers they converted into 14 points.
The Pittsburgh Steelers roared back during second half by scoring 17 points off three Ravens turnovers to take a 24-21 lead.The Steelers (13-4) were trailing 21-7 at halftime after turnovers created two Ravens touchdowns. But they came back with the help of three Baltimore turnovers in the third quarter. To the surprise of nobody, Baltimore came back to tie the score with 3:54 left in the fourth quarter on a 24-yard field goal by Billy Cundiff at the AFC championship game 2011.
Ben Roethlisberger hit rookie Antonio Brown on a 58-yard pass play on third-and-19, and Rashard Mendenhall scored from the 2 with 1:33 remaining to give the Steelers a 31-24 comeback victory over the Ravens in an AFC divisional playoff game Saturday.
Roethlisberger completed 19 of 32 passing attempts for 226 yards and two touchdowns. The Baltimore defense sacked him six times.
“What better way to put the Ravens out of the tournament,” Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward said. “They keep asking for us and we keep putting them out of the tournament. They’re going to be ticked about this for a long time.”
