Jennifer Lopez wanted her performance as a pregnant woman in The Back-Up Plan to be as realistic as possible for the film's female audience, even if that meant scenes of the actress “pigging out”.
“There's a couple of scenes in the movie where I'm eating and pigging out and they didn't put them in the first cut - I was like 'Listen guys, this is extremely important for women'," Lopez said at the London premiere of the film. "They need to see me pigging out. This is what happens when you get pregnant."
The 40-year-old actress is mother to two-year-old twins Max and Emme.
“You get really sleepy. You get really hungry. You get gas," Lopez told AFP.
