Former professional boxer and world champion Rocky Lockridge will be featured on A&E show. He will be featured in an episode of A&E’s Intervention. Lockridge world junior boxing champion was descended into crack and alcohol addiction but now he is a recovering. For his treatment he was admitted into Palmetto Addiction Recovery Center in Rayville, Louisiana. Lockridge spent three months there and released on February 8. He received great help from his sons to get rid of this. He didn’t spend so much time with his sons even his younger son Ricky had no idea where his father was for several years.
Rocky Lockridge faced many problems in his life which made him crack and alcohol addicted. He spent most of his life as a homeless person and after divorcing his wife he lived in the streets of the Bergen Square. During that time suffered a stroke. Not only had this he also spent some time in jail. Lockridge’s sons helped him a lot to dig his way of addiction.
Lockridge became WBA junior lightweight champion in 1984 and in the pro career he had 44-9 records, with 36 Kos. Now he is back on his way to spend a healthy life and he wants to start his new life as a boxing trainer. He spent almost fifteen years without his sons but now his sons have become his strength. A&E show Intervention focuses on addicts and they follow the addicts to help them get out of it. They also ask them to accept their help to overcome their problems.
