Spartacus: Blood and Sand Season 1 Episode 11 which was directed by Glenn Standring called “Old Wounds” aired this evening on Starz.
‘Old Wounds’ mainly focused on Spartacus’ real festering wound from the fight with Varro which caused him to go temporarily insane and secondly dealt with Batiatus licking his old wounds by taking sweet revenge on an old enemy by the name of Magistrate Calavius.

Spartacus is on the edge after killing Varro and starts seeing the ghost of his dead warrior/friend,telling him that he is worth gold to his master -and showing the fighter that his flesh/blood/womb contained pieces of gold.When he wakes up Spartacus admits to wrestling with the death of Varro and confesses to Varro’s wife Aurelia that his best friend died by his hands.
Hearing of Spartacus’s hallucination Mira stepped in to help and receives a warning from him -she must not to lay with other men.Meanwhile, Batiatus plots revenge against his enemies in Pompeii by kidnapping Calavius and lying /using Numerius to make sure wants his battle Crixus.At the end of the episode we discover that Calavius is dead thanks to Batiatus latest scheme.
