Arinze Onuaku Injury - VIDEO

Last day on Friday, Orange lost to Georgetown in the Big East Conference Tournament quarterfinals with scores 91-84 but no one was bother about that match or their loss rather everyone was questioning about senior forward Arinze Onuaku who got his right knee injured after hitting the floor when there were just five minutes left in the match. Georgetown won the match ruining the Syracuse’s hopes of winning national title. Arinze’s mother, Nwaneka, is confirmed about his participation at NCAA tournament. She told press that his X-rays were negative and doctors had asked him for rest and that’s it.
However, what is the reaction of his head coach, Jim Boeheim, or the team’s doctors? Dr. Irving Raphael said that his X-rays were negative. He insisted that rest would be the best suitable thing for him at that time besides trainers could also help him by providing him with suitable knee exercises.
Although, Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim takes it as a strain yet, Dr. Raphael cleared that the injury was Onuaku’s quad tendon, a serious problem with player that has been disturbing him his entire career. Last summer, he had to undergo surgery for the same quad tendon problem.
His roommate Wes Johnson said that it was hard to see him going down like that. Another teammate, Scoop Jardine, said that they were only thinking positive things right then.
