Rodney Stuckey collapses after seizure during ESPN

During Friday night's Pistons versus Cavaliers game in Cleveland, fans were shocked as Detroit guard Rodney Stuckey collapses into a coach's arms. The shocking incident happened during a timeout in the game. Stuckey was looked at on the court for about 12 minutes, then wheeled out on a stretcher with an oxygen mask on. He was immediately transported out to the Cleveland Clinic hospital via ambulance for more treatment. MSNBC and other sources reported that Stuckey's collapse was due to a violent seizure. There has not been any official confirmation of a Rodney Stuckey seizure as of this update.
It was reported by ESPN who televised the game nationwide that Stuckey was conscious and breathing on his own. The Pistons guard is currently in stable condition at the hospital. Stuckey collapsed while seated on the bench during a time out, not while arriving back from a play on the court. While seated, Stuckey fell into the arms of strength and conditioning coach Arnie Kander.
According to the Detroit Free Press, this isn't the first time Stuckey has had these sorts of problems. In a November 2008 game against the Celtics, Stuckey was helped to the locker room at halftime due to dizziness. Stuckey was unable to return to the game and then missed two straight games afterwords.
The Cavs ended up winning tonight's game by a final of 99-92. Stuckey had 8 points and 10 assists in 25 minutes of play. Cavs star Lebron James had 40 points in the victory, and noted that when an incident happens like when Rodney Stuckey collapses tonight, everyone is one family. Both the Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons teams met at center court following the game to offer a group prayer for Stuckey. Let's hope that Stuckey is back on the court soon in good health.
