Four people were killed and two injured in a Saturday shooting at a Mediterranean restaurant in North Hollywood, California, authorities said.
Four victims were confirmed dead at the scene while two were transported to a local hospital in critical condition, police said. All victims were males.
"We still don't know the motive, still trying to figure out if everyone was inside or if it happened outside, we're still gathering that information," said Officer Rosario Herrera of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The shooting happened about 4:40 p.m. The gunman, described as a man in his 30s, fled the scene.
It was still unclear whether the victims knew the suspect.
