A 7.2 magnitude earthquake has rocked the small Mariana Islands, which sit 215 miles off the coast of Guam.

CNN reports that the Mariana Islands are made up of two U.S. territories, Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
According to the Associated Press, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii did not issue a tsunami warning.“We wouldn’t expect any kind of significant tsunami for this event,” said the center’s director, Charles McCreery.

An earthquake of this magnitude could cause extreme damage, but so far, there have been no reports of casualties or damage so far.
