Tornado Sirens in Chicago


A Chicago Tornado watch has been issued in the National Weather Service and it extends to multiple Illinois counties.Chicago’s Office of Emergency Management and Communications activated the warning sirens at after 6 pm, after receiving reports of a funnel cloud nearing the city. The storms that hit Chicago have left damaged buildings and downed trees, but fortunately no injuries have been reported so far.




Several warnings have been issued across Illinois, including a flash flood warning throughout the whole area.
