Desperate Housewives season finale 2010 / Desperate Housewives season 6 episode 23 called “I Guess This Is Goodbye” which was directed by David Grossman and was written by Alexandra Cunningham aired last night on ABC.
The last episode of the season was very intense and ended with a bang literally ,it also had all the main ingredients to entertain the viewers such as a death,a birth ,few confessions, few big departures and a surprise return to Wisteria Lane.
Here is what occurred in the action packed installment.Lynette and Eddie:
Once more Felicity Huffman’s acting was brilliant but having Eddie delivering a baby and later turning himself in was a little too ‘fairy tale’ like for us.
Bree, Andrew and Orson:
Bree is now a single woman now that Sam left -in a strange way with his step-mother’s entire business. Orson has said good bye also seeing that Bree was not able to forgive him but forgave Andrew for committed exactly the same crime he did (Andrew ran over Carlos’ mother ).We can now expect some good story lines with our black window Bree next season.
The Bolens:
It is sad to see Angie and Nick leave but we understand that even with Patrick dead, the FBI is still looking for them.Angie is one brilliant bomb maker! She put the bomb in the detonator!
As for Danny,we should see him again next season in New York City with Ana.
Susan and Mike: So the Delfinos have moved out of Wisteria Lane into a smaller apartment but ,expect them to come back after dropping a lawsuit against the hospital that gave them the wrong child.(Rumors claimed that MJ was switched with Paige, crazy Dave’s deceased daughter, she was killed in a car accident caused by Mike and Suzanne).
Here is the recap of the episode:
As the season’s mysteries are resolved, new ones emerge on the explosive season finale. Gaby risks her safety to help Angie; Lynette begins giving birth while being held at Eddie’s house, which puts her and her unborn child’s life in danger; Susan and Mike come to grips with their financial woes and move out of their house; Bree considers confessing to Carlos that Andrew was the one who hit his mother with a car and killed her; and Angie must submit to Patrick’s demands in order to protect her son. Meanwhile, someone from the housewives’ past is back.
Overall,it was a decent finale that nicely wrapped up a lot of subplots but not in ways you expected. The Eddie plot came to a surprisingly tender conclusion that was truly unrealistic and far fetch while the Angie/Patrick plot came to a loud ending, Angie was simply brilliant. As for the two cliffhangers which kid on Wisteria Lane isn’t really a member of their family ?
And why is Paul Young back and what his plans?
