Mexico vs England : International Friendly Soccer

Rooney
England will face Mexico in an friendly soccer match on May 24. The match is very important for the England footballers because Coach Fabio Capello has a talented squad and every player on its particular position is perfect. All the players will try to perform well as Fabio Capello will announce the final squad for the World Cup on 1 June.

One of England coach’s favorites, Gareth Barry, will miss the game against Mexico due to his ankle injury. It is still not clear that can Barry make a full recovery from his ankle injury before the announcement of the final squad or not. We call him one of Fabio Capello’s favorites as he started 19 matches out of 22 for England since the Italian took charge as England’s new coach.

Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard are fully fit and they are both expected to play against Mexico. Other key players include Aaron Lennon of Tottenhum Hotspur and young Gunner Theo Walcott. James Milner is also expected to play. Milner, an Aston Villa player, has enjoyed a wonderful season with the club and he is Manchester United’s target for next season. Top quality striker Wayne Rooney scored more than 25 goals this season for the Red Devils and he is all set to start in front.

England is currently in Austria where they have been preparing for the mega event next month in South Africa. On May 30, England will face Japan in an International friendly in Austria.
