Tonight, was yet, another results show for a contestant to be sent packing. Unfortunately, the youngest of the group, and probably the sweetest, Aaron Kelly was the next American Idol contestant voted off. So now there are four. Find out more revealing details and see photos and a video below.Aaron Kelly and Big Mike surprisingly held the bottom two spots tonight. Wow, America sure has thrown us all for a loop. I didn’t think that Aaron would be leaving us so soon? But then again, this season has been quite interesting. Be sure to see pictures and videos below.

As a biography, Aaron Kelly is from Sonestown, Pennyslvania. As a child, he was adopted by his aunt and uncle. He is 17 years old and is a senior at Pennysylvania Cyber Charter School. He enjoys writing songs and photography. He is most-known for his appearance of Season 9 American Idol. Kelly auditioned in Orlando, Florida and earned a spot in the top 24. He further moved up in the competition, placing fifth in the singing competition. At his audition, he won over the judges singing Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb”. The following songs were chosen by the singer for his performances: Here Comes Goodbye (Rascall Flatts), My Girl (The Tempations), I’m Already There (Westlife), Angie (The Rolling Stones), I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing (Aerosmith), Ain’t No Sunshine (Bill Withers), The Long and Winding Road (The Beatles), Blue Suede Shoes (Elvis Presley), I Believe I Can Fly (R. Kelly), You’ve Got a Way (Shania Twain) and Fly Me to the Moon (Frank Sinatra).

For a Frank Sinatra-themed week, with the mentoring of Harry Connick Jr., Kelly sang “Fly Me to the Moon”. I actually thought he did pretty well, compared to a couple of the contestants. However, tonight was the end of the road for the young singer as Big Mike hugged Kelly and gave him some words of wisdom, one could only assume.Following the American Idol contestant’s elimination, Aaron shared, “I’ve had a great time; I’ve had a blast.”I would agree that the highlight of the night was Lady Gaga’s strange performance of “Alejandro”. Although she reminds me of a young Madonna-esque singer, she did sing well. The song happens to be the third single from her record “The Fame Monster”.

In addition, Harry Connick Jr. also performed his rendition of The Beatles “And I Love Her” from his most recent record. With his swag in check, he graced the stage with a swooning performance. For next week? The remaining contestants will be mentored by Jamie Foxx with the theme of “Movie Tracks”.Well I commend you Aaron Kelly. Even though you were the fifth American Idol contestant voted off, I’m sure you have a journey of success ahead of you. Leave us your thoughts in the comment box.
