Officer in New York has been suspended after it was discovered that he allowed an 11-year-old girl to dieafter pulling her mother over for driving down a one way street while taking her to the hospital.
The officer being accused is five year veteran Alfonoso Mendez. Melendez is accused of denying to help the young girl by performing CPR on the child who was suffering from a severe asthma attack.
Mendez allegedly offered little help when 11-year-old Briana Ojeda was being rushed to the hospital by her mother, Carmen, who drove down a one way street to avoid traffic to get her daughter to the hospital.
