Lindsay Lohan: Admits to a failed drug test on Twitter

This year has not been one of the best for actress Lindsay Lohan following her time in court and jail. She could be heading back there soon after it seems she has failed a court ordered drug test.

The news comes just weeks after she was released from jail and doing a drug rehabilitation program. After some media reports of recent drug use she posted some messages on her Twitter page, and if the reports are true she could be going back in jail.

Lohan wrote on her Twitter page “Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test,” and added “… Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn’t go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every day. I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future.”

Lohan also said on Twitter she would return to court and “face the consequences.” After she was released she was ordered to have random drug testing twice a week, and attend drug counseling and behavioral therapy classes.
